Ambassador’s Attendance at the Cyprus National Paralympic Committee Event

On September 21st, Ambassador Nakatsugawa attended the event “Scuba Diving Fun Day” for disabled people, which was organized by the Cyprus National Paralympic committee in Limassol.

This was the event held in Cyprus for the first time.

It was a great and enjoyable opportunity for all participants. There were many unique activities such as free trial diving for anyone with disabilities supported by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors, a speech by the Paralympic medalist in weightlifting, a performance of Para Dance and so on.

The President of Cyprus Parliament Mr. Syllouris, the President of Cyprus National Paralympic Committee Mr. Kamarlingos and many Cypriot families also enjoyed the event.

At the opening ceremony, Ambassador Nakatsugawa gave a speech promoting the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic games 2020 that will be held next summer.
