Courtesy Visit to Mr. Phedonas Phedonos, Mayor of Paphos Municipality (25th October)

On October 25th, Ambassador Nakatsugawa paid a courtesy visit to Paphos city and had a meeting with the Mayor Mr. Phedonas Phedonos.
Paphos is surrounded by rich nature and has many ancient remains, some of which are UNESCO world heritage sites. In 2017, this city was selected as the European Capital of Culture. Many Japanese people and groups related to culture had visited Paphos for cultural exchanges.
During the meeting, they shared the views on the possibility of creating stronger connections including exchanges in the fields of culture, human, and economy etc.
