Reception for the opening of the Embassy of Japan in Cyprus

On the 23rd of July, the reception for the opening of the Embassy of Japan in Cyprus took place. Among others, the reception was attended by the President of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Anastasiades, the Foreign Minister Mr. Christodoulides and the State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Mr. Nakane.
The guests celebrated with sake, which had been offered to them after the completion of the «Kagami Βiraki» traditional ceremony (a custom where the lid of the sake barrel is broken with wooden hammers to bring good luck).
