Origami workshops were organized in 28th and 29th of February

The Embassy of Japan in Cyprus organized Origami workshops for adults in 28th of Feb. and for children in 29th of Feb., which are delivered by Ms. Ioanna Christodoulou as an Origami instructor at Agia School of Art and Design in Nicosia. We received 60 participants in total through 2 days.
In the workshop for adults, the participants listened to the lecture of history of Origami, which is traditional Japanese art of paper holding, and its cultural backdrop. Afterwards, they were holding papers in a serious manner to create Pigeon, Ninja Star and so on, along to the guidance of the instructor.
In the workshop for Children, it was impressive that they were playfully folding papers, which having various colors and patterns, and creating frogs and characters of famous animation, etc.
