Farewell Courtesy Visit of Ambassador Yamawaki to the President of the House of Representatives

On September 26, 2025, Ambassador Yamawaki paid a farewell courtesy visit to the President of the House of Representatives, Mrs. Annita Demetriou.
The President expressed her warm gratitude for Ambassador Yamawaki’s remarkable work and contributions to strengthening bilateral relations in a wide range of areas, such as economy, shipping, and innovation, as well as for Japan’s long-standing support regarding the Cyprus issue.
They reaffirmed the high level of friendly relations of the two countries and their positive attitude toward further deepening cooperation between the Parliaments of Japan and Cyprus.
