Opening remarks by Ambassador Iwasaki at Japanese Film Screenings 2025

On 5 November 2025, the Embassy of Japan held the first screening of the Japanese Film Screenings 2025 series at the Pantheon Theatre in Nicosia, where Ambassador Iwasaki delivered an opening speech, warmly welcoming the audience. 
The event commenced with the thought-provoking romance film, Love at Least, first released in Japan in 2018. The screening of the film, which explores the human relationships of a young woman who suffers from depression and has difficulty controlling her emotions, was well-received, with viewers leaving positive and empathetic feedback.
The Japanese Film Screenings 2025 will continue with three more screenings later this month, scheduled for 15, 22, and 26 November. For more Information, please visit
