Courtesy Visit of Ambassador Iwasaki to Minister of Foreign Affairs

On 18 December 2025, Ambassador Satoshi Iwasaki paid a courtesy visit to Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Constantinos Kombos.
Dr. Kombos expressed his warm welcome for Ambassador Iwasaki to Cyprus and expressed his pleasure at the deepening of bilateral relations in recent years. Ambassador Iwasaki congratulated that Cyprus will assume the EU presidency from January 2026, and both sides exchanged views on further expanding cooperation not only bilaterally, but also at the level between Japan-EU relations.
