On 22 October 2026, Ambassador Satoshi Iwasaki paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Fire Officer, Mr. Nicos Longinos.
Mr. Longinos warmly welcomed Ambassador Iwasaki and provided a comprehensive overview of the current disaster prevention and emergency rescue systems in the Republic of Cyprus.
