Contemporary Japanese Printmaking Exhibition - “Beyond the Floating World”

The Embassy of Japan in Cyprus announces that The Hambis Municipal Printmaking Museum is holding a Contemporary Japanese Printmaking Exhibition from May 27, until October 15, 2022, with the title “Beyond the Floating World”. At the exhibition, you will be able to see works from 13 Japanese artists and 1 piece created by Ambassador Seki with the guidance of Mr. Hambis Tsangari.
The Ambassador attended the opening ceremony, which took place on May 27 and delivered a speech to celebrate the exhibition.

Admission to the museum is free year-round. At this time, in addition to the Japanese works, the museum is holding a temporary exhibition with work of Mr. Tsangari who has devoted his career in printmaking.
The exhibition “Beyond the Floating World” is part of the celebrations of the 60 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and Cyprus.
