Ambassador awards Cyprus Ikebana Club (29th March)

Ambassador Shinichi Nakatsugawa awarded “Philanthes and Ikebana Club” on 29^th March 2019 at his residence.

The Club has contributed to the promotion of cultural ties and friendship between Japan and Cyprus through its activities to promote Ikebana for 50 years since the foundation in 1969.

Ambassador Nakatsugawa extended his deepest regards to Philanthes and Ikebana Club in recognition of its distinguished service over a long period of time, and Ms. Ourania Gavrielides, President of the Club, received the certificate on behalf of the Club.

Today, the Club has more than 150 teachers and many more students in Cyprus.
